Altrincham FC secured a 2-1 away win at AFC Fylde on Saturday, their fifth victory in six Enterprise National League games. The result pushes the Robins up to 10th place in the table with 15 points from nine matches.
Manager Phil Parkinson spoke to the club's media channel after the final whistle. He expressed his happiness with the three points and highlighted the team's collective effort.
"He spoke to Alty TV's Tom Jolley after the game about the desire and hard work of the squad and the phenomenal backing from the supporters in the away end," Parkinson said.
The win continues a strong run of form, with the team now on a two-game winning streak. Goals from Kyle Hemmings and Matty Kosylo, who also provided an assist, secured the three points at Mill Farm.
Altrincham now turn their attention to a home match against AFC Hornchurch next Saturday. Hornchurch currently sit one place above them in ninth, setting up a key contest in the early-season standings.
