Altrincham FC is delighted to confirm that four Academy graduates have extended their stay with the club, while goalkeeper Max Beddow has become the latest player to sign his first professional contract. Contract extension options have been exercised on goalkeeper Louie Fallon and midfielder Remi Raymond, while Owen German and Joel Bailey have agreed new deals after continuing their development during loan spells away from The J.Davidson Stadium last season. The quartet all progressed through the club's Academy system and will continue their development with the first team during the 2026/27 campaign. Joining them is fellow Academy graduate Max Beddow, who has earned his first professional contract following an excellent 12 months of development. The latest agreements mean that seven Academy graduates have now been offered professional contracts over the past four years, underlining the success of the club's player pathway model. Fallon and Raymond both gained valuable first team experience during the 2025/26 campaign, with Fallon particularly impressing during a run of appearances when Luke Hutchinson was unavailable due to concussion protocols. German and Bailey also enjoyed productive loan spells away from the club last season, gaining valuable senior experience as part of their ongoing development. Academy Manager Paul Fay said, 'I am delighted for Max Beddow to be signing his first professional contract. It is thoroughly deserved and a testament to Morgan Chilton, our goalkeeping coach, and all of the Academy staff who have worked with him.' Director of Football John Coyne added, 'This is hugely important for the football club. If we want to attract talented young players into our Academy, there has to be a genuine pathway into the first team.'
