Altrincham Football Club's chairman has provided an update on the club's position regarding a potential new stadium development within Trafford. The club maintains regular communication with stakeholders, including Sale Sharks, and is involved in discussions regarding matters of mutual interest. Altrincham FC's priority is to ensure the long-term interests of the club, its supporters, and the wider community are protected and enhanced. The club will continue to assess opportunities that could benefit the club while remaining focused on development both on and off the pitch. Off-season ground improvements are also underway, including the completion of work on the Pop Side, which will be in full use again for the new season. The Fan Zone is being expanded, and a revamped hospitality lounge is being developed. The new LED floodlights have been installed, and the Golf Road End roof replacement is still being considered. And with the eyesore of scaffolding now removed, the Pop Side will be open for supporters to use on matchday. But the club is also keen to improve the experience for away fans, with an away fan zone being put in place. So the club is working hard to enhance the matchday experience for all supporters during the 2026/27 season.
