Sam Taylor has previewed Altrincham's upcoming trip to Woking in an interview with the club's in-house media channel. The defender spoke to Alty TV presenter George Allen ahead of the National League fixture this Saturday.

Taylor's comments come with Altrincham in confident mood after three consecutive victories. The Robins sit 11th in the table with nine points from six matches, having beaten Eastleigh, Forest Green Rovers and FC Halifax Town in their last three outings. Their most recent result was a 2-1 home win over Eastleigh last Thursday, with goals from T. Crawford and L. Humbles securing the points.

Focus on Woking

"It's always a tough place to go, but we're in good form and we want to keep that going," Taylor said. "The mood in the camp is really positive after the last few results."

The full interview was published by Altrincham FC on Friday. It provides an insight into the squad's preparation as they aim to climb the National League standings.

Altrincham's recent form shows three wins and two losses from their last five games, a sequence that has lifted them to mid-table. They are now seven points behind early leaders Boreham Wood. The next challenge is a visit to the Laithwaite Community Stadium to face a Woking side also looking to build momentum.

Taylor, who has been a consistent presence in the back line this season, emphasised the importance of maintaining their defensive solidity on the road. The Robins have conceded eight goals so far while scoring seven. Securing another positive result would mark a significant step forward in their campaign.
