Altrincham meet United of Manchester again in the FA Cup Fourth Round Qualifying on Tuesday evening. The replay at the J. Davidson Stadium kicks off at 19:45, just three days after the initial tie finished 0-0 on Saturday 17 October.

Phil Parkinson's side are sixth in the National League with 24 points from 13 games, having recorded eight wins and five losses. Their recent form of three wins, one draw and one loss provides a solid platform for the cup tie, part of a wider run that includes a 2-1 win at AFC Fylde on 19 September. The same starting eleven that beat Aldershot Town 3-1 earlier this month is expected to feature.

That victory over Aldershot on 10 October saw goals from Banks, Alex Barlow and Liam Farrell. Altrincham have scored 20 league goals this season while conceding 19, giving them a goal difference of plus one. They sit 11 points behind leaders Boreham Wood but are firmly in the playoff picture.

Their next assignment is a tough away trip to fourth-placed Yeovil Town on Saturday 24 October. First, they must handle this cup replay. The winners of Tuesday's match will earn a place in the First Round proper of the competition.

Altrincham's last five results show a team in decent touch. They followed the draw with United of Manchester with that 3-1 win over Aldershot. Before that came a 3-1 loss at Boreham Wood on 3 October, a 1-0 win at Gateshead on 29 September and a 3-0 home victory against AFC Hornchurch on 26 September.

The club will be looking to Banks and others to provide the attacking spark that was missing in the first meeting. The replay offers a quick chance to correct that and keep their cup run alive. A place in the First Round draw is the immediate prize for the victors.

Altrincham will host Notts County in the FA Cup First Round if they win Tuesday's replay. The club confirmed the draw was made on Monday evening. The tie would be played over the weekend of November 6th-9th at the J. Davidson Stadium. Altrincham, sixth in the National League with 24 points, must first beat United of Manchester at Broadhurst Park on Tuesday.
